Bahia Sola Eco-Resort

Los Cabos Corridor, Baja California Sur, Mexico · Flagship

Overview

Operating since 2022

$42M investment · 45 keys · 12 acres

Bahia Sola is the property that defined what Tias Capital would become. Situated on a private cove along the Sea of Cortez, the resort occupies twelve acres of undeveloped coastline that had been passed over by larger developers focused on the Cabo San Lucas hotel corridor to the south. We saw something different: a site with pristine marine access, desert-to-ocean trail networks, and the kind of seclusion that the luxury traveler increasingly demands but rarely finds.

The resort comprises 45 keys -- a mix of freestanding casitas and elevated ocean-view suites -- all designed with locally sourced materials and integrated into the existing terrain rather than imposed upon it. The property is 100% solar-powered and holds zero-waste certification, the first resort on the Baja peninsula to achieve both designations. Guest programming centers on the landscape: guided snorkeling in the cove's protected reef system, sea kayaking along the coastal cliffs, and multi-day desert-to-ocean trail experiences led by local naturalist guides.

Bahia Sola is not our largest investment. It is our most important. It proved that the Tias Capital thesis -- build around the place, not over it -- could produce both category-defining guest experiences and institutional-grade returns.
