Dune + Drift was built around a simple observation: millions of travelers visit southern Utah's national parks every year, and the vast majority sleep in highway motels forty minutes from the landscapes they came to see. We believed there was a market -- a large one -- for guests willing to pay a premium to wake up on the rim of the canyon, not in a parking lot beside the highway.
The property comprises 30 high-end glamping pods positioned along red rock canyon rims outside Moab, each designed for minimal environmental footprint and maximum immersion in the landscape. Every pod features a private stargazing deck, climate control, and interiors that reflect the desert palette without trying to insulate guests from it. Programming includes guided e-bike tours through desert terrain, sunrise yoga on the slickrock, and partnerships with Arches and Canyonlands National Parks for exclusive early-access programs.
Dune + Drift established what we now call the "accessible luxury outdoors" category within our portfolio -- premium outdoor experiences that do not require guests to sacrifice comfort in order to connect with the landscape. It has become the most frequently cited example of our model among prospective investors and partners.
