Solimar Beach Club is Tias Capital's first East Coast investment and a deliberate move into a new format: the membership-based social club. The Outer Banks -- 200 miles of barrier islands with a deep surf culture, a thriving arts community, and a seasonal tourism economy that has never had a premium social anchor -- is precisely the kind of market where we see outsize potential.
The concept centers on a beachfront clubhouse with indoor-outdoor dining, a curated surfing program with equipment and instruction, a live music series featuring emerging artists, bonfire dining experiences on the beach, and an artist residency program that brings painters, ceramicists, and musicians to the property for multi-week creative stays. Membership will be offered on an annual basis, with a seasonal day-pass model for visiting tourists.
Solimar represents an evolution in our portfolio strategy. A social club generates recurring revenue through memberships, creates year-round community engagement, and serves as a cultural anchor that elevates the broader destination. We believe this model is replicable in coastal and mountain communities across the United States.
